Descartes Inc. is a cutting edge research company that is on the verge of a breakthrough that will change the world. 24 hours before Descartes Inc. presents its breakthrough to the press, their computer systems are attacked and have been held hostage by ransomware!
The hackers have demanded that the company pay 100 million dollars or they will leak the research in the black market to the highest bidder.
You and your team of cyber security experts at Descartes Inc. are the last hope. While the company mobilises funds to pay off the hackers, you lead your team to turn off the server and thwart the attack.
Your only clues recovered from the depths of the darknet: A location from where the ransomware attack originates. And a number of strange codes that may be useful later in your investigation. You add these to your evidence bag and rush to the location. You find yourself in front of an abandoned house.
You have 60 minutes. Can you stop the attack and save the world?
